What is Distressed Leather?

This beautiful leather is aniline dyed in a drum giving it unique and vibrant colors. When the leather is stretched or pulled, the color gets lighter in the pulled areas (also called pull-up leather). The beauty of this leather is its susceptibility to showing wear and tear, color changes, marks, and a rich patina (shine) over time, ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These oil pull-ups are FULL GRAIN leather and can last decades to a lifetime if taken proper care of.
